Affiliate Marketing Made Simple

Wow, that’s a big promise. “Affiliate Marketing Made Simple”. Gosh. Affiliate Marketing Beginners, good luck!

Anyway.

Essentially there are four steps:

1. Set up the website you’re going to recommend your affiliate products on. This should be a single-themed, high quality site. I’ll show you how to set one up in my next post. Choose a theme you know about or are willing to find out about.

Cost: About $10 for a domain name and about $8 a month for web hosting.

2. Research good keywords to target on your site. Your keywords are critical to your success; these are the words people type into search engines to find out about your theme. For example “best cat collars”. You use Google, right? So you know yourself the kind of things people type, but we can get more targeted keywords by using  keyword tools. I’ll cober this in more detail soon.

Cost: Google have a free keyword research tool, but there are a number of paid tools that do a great job, too.

3. Write articles using the keywords you found in step 2, then submit them to article sites. These will be at least 400 words and will aim to solve the reader’s problem (the reason they went to Google in the first place). By the way, other search engines are available, but, er, so what? It’s still Google that counts.

Cost: None, in fact you might even make some money here (again, details later).

4. Add more content to your website.

Cost: free

5. Ok, I know I said four, but this one is very simple: repeat steps one to four. Often.

So, that’s affiliate marketing in a nutshell. I’ll expand on these topics in future posts. Affiliate marketing made easy, right?

Total cost: less than $20

How To Entertain Yourself On A Bus Trip

A bus trip can either be something that is either really entertaining or something really boring. It can be quite easy to find a good charter bus to cater to your needs such as a charter bus in New Jersey can offer. However, something that is more challenging is trying to find ways to entertain yourself on a long bus ride. If you have made the mistake of coming to a bus ride unprepared, you will find yourself bored out of your mind in pretty much no time at all. If you do not want that kind of thing to happen to you, what you can do is prepare yourself by taking along with you some great portable entertaining things such as:

  1. Bring along your portable game consoles ( Sony PSP, Nintendo DS, etc ). These can really keep you occupied for hours on end.
  2. Invent fun games spontaneously. This is a great way to promote creativity and it can really help people bond together through a fun new experience.
  3. Have some portable board games handy. These can be shared with other people on the bus who want to play as well. Make sure that the board games are magnetized to reduce the loss of important pieces.
  4. Bring word games and puzzles which can be played alone or with friends.
  5. Bring a set of playing cards. Cards are very versatile and can be used to play a lot of games.
  6. Bring your iPod or mp3 player so you can listen to all your favorite songs or even play some games.
  7. Have your laptop ready. Your laptop is very versatile and can provide you with a lot of modes of entertainment from games, music, to going online.
  8. Bring a book or two to read. This is a foolproof method of keeping away boredom.

How to set up an internet marketing and web company

Ever thought about setting up an internet marketing and web company? Okay, ever considered finding out how you can make some money online?  If you have, you’re one of millions across the world, like me, who have had such an idea.

The problem I found when I first set out on this road a few years ago was how? How on earth do I go about it? Of course, I Googled furiously for information, dollar signs flashing in my eyes as I found site after site telling me I could start up my own web company and make money. The problem was, these sites all wanted to sell me something. Oh, I admit I bought stuff; lots of stuff. Nearly bankrupted me. And, of course, I didn’t make a cent. But I persevered, trying by trial and error to do the things that I found for free. In this process, I discovered potpiegirl, who offered sound, sensible, free advice. I read her blog avidly and began to make progress. I downloaded her free course, the DAM way, and began to make progress at last. I’d found someone I could trust who offered no-cost advice and very low-cost methods.

But soon, I wanted to move to the next level and I realised the free advice was not going to get me there. So, as I’d come to trust potpiegirl, I decided I would buy one last thing and shelled out $47 for her affiliate marketing beginners guide, One Week Marketing. To my surprise, it did exactly what it promised to do. I followed the step by step, detailed plan and within seven days I had my most successful marketing campaign yet.

Then, I simply rinsed and repeated time and again. I now have lots of campaigns running, bringing me a modest but decent amount every month. No, I’m not a millionaire and my overnight success took the best part of five years. However, I’m now in a position to recommend potpiegirl’s methods to affiliate marketing beginners. If you like the idea of setting up your own internet marketing and web company, then look no further than One Week Marketing. Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on some course that’s not going to work.

If you don’t believe me, check out the free advice at potpiegirl.com before you make up your mind. And good luck!
